Software Development Engineer, ASP Core Enablement

Salary: $143,400 - 143,400 per year Requirements:

• We require 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• We require 2+ years of experience in design or architecture for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• We require 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related technical role.
• We require 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• We require 1+ years of experience with object-oriented design.
• We require a bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• We require experience programming in at least one software language.
• Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Preferred: bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Preferred: experience with front-end software development.
• Preferred: experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and SQS.
• Preferred: experience with AI/ML technologies.
• Preferred: experience building data pipelines or automated ETL processes.

• Preferred: experience operating production systems, including deployment and monitoring.

• We implement and deliver features for production web applications and internal services, contributing across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• We build tools and automation using AWS AI services such as Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• We create data pipelines from multiple sources, support data model design, and develop standardized metrics and calculations for business reporting.
• We build analytics and reporting solutions with SQL and business intelligence tools that bring together data from internal platforms into stakeholder dashboards.
• We develop APIs and integrations that connect internal systems and expose data to other teams and tools across the organization.
• We contribute to internal workflow systems that handle approvals, notifications, scheduling, and self-service operations for partner-facing teams.
• We participate in production operations, including deployments, security reviews, access management, and service health monitoring.
• We write well-structured, testable code with appropriate documentation, take part in code reviews, and follow our engineering standards.
