Registered Nurse - PT Days

This individual is responsible for the daily clinical aspect functioning to meet all residents needs./ph2Job Description/h2pResponsibilities include:/pulliMedication supervision/administration in compliance with Federal State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines./liliAdmissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation./liliCompleting acute and long-term care plans or service plans./liliClinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the Director of Nursing./liliDischarges, assessments, and clinical documentation as indicated./liliProviding general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community./liliNotifying physicians and/or family members of any change in residents health and providing proper documentation./liliResponding quickly to all emergencies./liliMaintaining close communication with all departments and staff members./liliMaintaining confidentiality of residents and prospective residents information./liliUnderstanding role in the Safety Disaster Plan./liliProviding educational meetings for residents and staff./li/ulh2Qualifications/h2pRequirements include:/ppLevel of Formal Education: An Associates Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school: or Two years related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education and applicable experience. Area of Study: Nursing Years of Experience: 1+ years Type of Experience: skilled, sub-acute, or memory care setting Special Certifications: Must have a Registered Nurses License current, with no judgments against it, in the state in which he/she is practicing and must be CPR certified Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.
