Certified Medication Aide

Role: Certified Nursing Assistant and Trained Medication Aide responsible for administering and documenting medications such as inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical treatments under supervision. Responsibilities Assist residents with their physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs, providing compassionate care guided by the Charge Nurse. Qualifications Must be registered with the Minnesota Department of Health as a CNA, successfully complete a 48-hour Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course, and hold or obtain CNA certification within six months. Proficiency in English is required. Skills & Requirements Ability to read, write, and speak English; certification or eligibility for certification as a CNA and TMA.
