Orbital Welder Project Details & Logistics When: Tuesday, September 1, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Where: Applied Materials, 10801 Giles Ln, Austin, TX 78724, Building 36. Raise is hosting a hiring event at the Applied Materials Austin campus, with interviews and same-day offers happening on-site. Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Job Overview Orbital Welder, contract with potential to convert, building high-purity assemblies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Day, swing, and weekend shifts available. Pay is based on experience, certifications, and your assessment results. Requirements Hands-on orbital and TIG welding experience Ultra-high purity or semiconductor fabrication experience is a strong plus Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment (full PPE required, including cleanroom coveralls, hood, mask, and steel-toed footwear) Reliability, precision, and readiness to start At the event: Complete a short orbital welding skills assessment Interview on-site with the hiring team Get a same-day decision if you're a fit We strive to build teams that reflect the diversity of the communities we work in.
