Job Summary:
The RN Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation Unit provides high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering personalized care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses, primarily during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans using evidence-based practices.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth recovery.
• Document clinical observations, interventions, and patient progress following facility protocols.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions, including activating emergency responses if needed.
• Participate in call rotation, providing coverage during staffing shortages and on-call shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Colorado RN license with at least 3 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years in an acute care or Med-Surg setting.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Be willing to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and call shifts.
• Must have current flu vaccination for the ongoing flu season.
