Description
NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for an experienced Executive Chef | Kitchen Manager to join our team in Athens. This full-time, on-site position offers a fantastic opportunity to lead our culinary initiatives and elevate the dining experience in our restaurant.
In this role, you will play a critical part in overseeing kitchen operations, menu development, and staff management while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our patrons.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually, together with comprehensive benefits and avenues for career advancement in the vibrant restaurant industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Develop and design innovative and seasonal menus
- Manage kitchen staff, providing training and support
- Maintain kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop culinary strategies
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards
- Engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience
- Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and flavor
- Ability to manage a team effectively and motivate staff
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of menu design and food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Creativity in menu development and presentation
- Flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends
