CT Technologist - Weekend Day Shift

Location: Maryland

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Friday/Saturday/Sunday - Day shift (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description: The CT Technologist will perform cat scan procedures using prescribed techniques, ensuring the quality of diagnostic images. The role involves adjusting equipment, selecting appropriate technical factors, and documenting procedures accurately within the Cerner system.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scanning procedures of various organs to localize pathological processes.
• Review requisitions for completeness and verify patient information.
• Select appropriate protocols and ensure optimal levels of density and contrast for imaging.
• Document administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner.
• Complete examinations in a timely manner and ensure all screenings and consents are done.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Maryland or Compact license required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) and BLS certification.
• At least two years of experience in a relevant imaging field.
• Cerner and community hospital experience required.
