A/V Installation Technician

Job Details Job Location: Operations Center - Troy, MI 48084 Job Summary Entry level role working in a team environment performing a variety of tasks related to AV installations in both residential and commercial settings. The position requires the ability to read and understand instructions and prints, perform heavy labor, and work effectively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pre-wire residential and commercial properties. Cut, terminate and identify various audio, video, data cables and wire. Ability to read and understand instructions and prints Ability to perform heavy labor, such as moving materials Strong teamwork and communication skills. Valid Driver’s license Physical stamina to handle strenuous work in hot or cold weather. Install TVs, Speakers, Video projectors, projector screens. Basic Ins/Outs, Rack wiring and AV signal paths and control signal paths. Proficient in Slack navigation. (Pinning items, finding information/ prints, uploading redlines) Qualifications QualificationsQualifications Technical Skills: Experience in pre-wiring residential and commercial properties, including cutting, terminating, and identifying various audio, video, and data cables and wires. Blueprint and Instruction Reading: Ability to read and understand installation instructions, schematics, and technical prints. Physical Capability: Ability to perform heavy labor, including moving materials and handling strenuous work in various weather conditions (hot or cold). AV Equipment Installation: Experience installing TVs, speakers, video projectors, and projector screens, as well as knowledge of basic rack wiring and AV signal paths. Communication and Teamwork: Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaborating with others on installation projects.
