Job Opportunity

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse position in a nursing home setting plays a vital role in assisting with daily nursing activities. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional healthcare to residents.

Essential Job Duties

Communicate timely with physicians, families, and relevant parties regarding significant changes in resident conditions.
Complete all applicable resident assessments diligently.
Administer medications while adhering to the 5 Rights of medication administration.
Perform wound care and conduct assessments as necessary.
Assist Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with responding to call lights.
Monitor residents for changes in health status and intervene as needed.
Act as a leader on the floor by assessing situations and providing direction accordingly.
Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
Maintain accurate resident records through thorough and precise charting.
Perform additional duties as requested.

Required Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Two-year degree in nursing is required; a four-year degree in nursing is preferred.
Must hold and maintain a Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
1+ years of relevant work experience is preferred.
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Shift Details

This position is for the Weekend PM shift, which includes three 14-hour shifts:

Saturday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Sunday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Monday/Tuesday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
