This role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality guest experience while maintaining operational excellence and compliance with all health and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Staff ManagementHire, train, coach, and supervise kitchen team members, including cooks and dishwashersCreate schedules and assign responsibilities to ensure efficient operationsConduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and developmentFoster a positive, team-oriented work environmentFood Quality & Kitchen OperationsEnsure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standardsMaintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of kitchen equipment and workspacesPartner with management to introduce and execute new menu itemsEnsure efficient ticket times and smooth kitchen operations during peak hoursInventory & Cost ControlMonitor inventory levels and order supplies as neededManage food costs, labor costs, and waste to achieve budget goalsEnsure proper food storage and rotation procedures are followedConduct regular inventory counts and maintain vendor relationshipsHealth & Safety ComplianceEnforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standardsMaintain compliance with all local health department regulationsEnsure kitchen equipment is cleaned and properly maintainedPromote a safe and sanitary working environment for all employeesGuest ExperienceCollaborate with front-of-house teams to resolve guest concerns promptlySupport a seamless flow of food from kitchen to tableContribute to an exceptional dining experience through operational excellenceQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in food and alcohol servicePrevious experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or similar leadership role preferredStrong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practicesServSafe certification requiredEcoSure experience preferredExperience managing teams of 30 or more employeesExperience in high-volume, full-service restaurant operationsAverage weekly sales volume management experience of at least $35,000 preferredStrong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAdditional RequirementsHighly motivated, self-directed, and results-orientedStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and enforce company policiesIntermediate computer proficiency requiredWhy Join Us?We believe integrity, teamwork, and energy are the foundation of great leadership.
