Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

Under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. They are responsible for recording patients' progress and reporting the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Perform therapeutic interventions including exercises, massage, and gait training.
• Monitor and document patient progress in alignment with treatment goals.
• Report findings and progress updates to physical therapists for further assessment.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment for patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - REQUIRED
• Current Texas or compact state license - REQUIRED

Schedule

This position offers 8-hour days with a 40-hour guarantee, scheduled during day shifts.
