Job Title: Travel RN - Cath Lab Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Structural Heart IABP Impella IFR FFR Description: This position is for a Travel RN in the Cath Lab. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The unit has 7 holding beds. Patient ratios and unit staffing will be provided upon request. Equipment includes GE Innova and Impella. Documentation systems used are MacLab and Meditech. The position requires participation in Stemi Call approximately 10 to 12 days per month. Self-scheduling is available. Floating within departments may be required. Advanced skills needed include PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP procedures. Common procedures performed include TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP, DCCV, and TEE. The dress code consists of surgical scrubs, which are provided. This unit is recognized for its commitment to quality care and has received various awards. New equipment and technologies are implemented to enhance patient care.
