Schedule

This position requires working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department will provide critical care assessment and management, utilizing advanced nursing skills in a fast-paced environment. The RN will triage patients and demonstrate proficiency in various emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Triage of patients and perform comprehensive assessments.
• Administer IV/IO lines and manage chest tubes.
• Provide catheterization and manage critical care drips.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and provide patient education.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN licensure.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• 1+ year of experience in an Emergency Department is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in critical care assessment and IV skills.
• Comfortability with cardiac monitoring and emergency procedures.
