The Retention Data Analyst will focus on handling data needs of retention programs and other Product Management-driven initiatives. They will be responsible for applying expertise in data analysis and visualization to see beyond the numbers and understand what drives the performance of our products and retention programs. You must be able to execute data writing, scripts, and create reports/dashboards. You are responsible for managing and creating table relationships, ad-hoc analytics, SQL queries, application development, and dashboard content. Lastly, you will present data through Power BI, SSRS, and Excel.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize complex data into easy-to-understand actionable insights
- Use tools to extract accurate and high-quality data from our customer database and other sources
- Create and maintain quality reporting and dashboards in a way that assists the organization make better decisions
- Become well-versed in customer data to identify behaviors that indicate possible lifecycle changes (examples: churn, stickiness)
- Analyze data trends and identify root causes
- Work closely with key cross functional teams such as the data analysts and IT to solve business problems.
- Build dashboards on CRM platforms like Hubspot Sales Hub and/or Marketing Hub
- Lead and manage defined projects or assist with milestone achievements.
- Provide support to internal customers via training and answering questions related to reports and dashboards created.
- Other duties assigned.
Candidates must show:
- Technical skills - proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation
- Mathematical skills - to help collect, measure, organize, and analyze data
- Collaboration skills - Must be able to work cross-functionally with other departments
- Presentation skills - is comfortable with delivering briefings and reports to colleagues, conduct training sessions, and any other tasks related to speaking in front of an audience
- Oral and written communication - speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listens carefully, provides clarification, responds well to questions, and edits work for spelling and grammar.
- Process oriented - knows and understands how to create efficient scalable and repeatable processes.

- Understands and applies procedures, regulations, and policies related to areas of specialized expertise.

This is what you need to have:
- Four (4) years of college resulting in Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR 2 or more years of related work experience preferred.
- Expert experience pulling large and complex data using SQL and writing data pipelines
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Power Bi, or similar data visualization tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
- Experience in Business communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Slack
- Experience in using Hubspot Sales Hub and Marketing Hub, or similar CRM tools
- May require working at other locations so must have valid Guam Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years of telecommunication experience with sales.
- Experienced in utilizing current technological means of communication (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, etc)
- Personal effectiveness - participates with the team and achieves individual objectives.
- Technical - continually growing in technical capability.
- Able to contribute to team success by supporting fellow co-workers and achieving individual objectives.
