Job Responsibilities

• Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and establish tailored therapy approaches aimed at helping them reach their personal functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognition, and ability to perform daily tasks.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work synergistically with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to ensure comprehensive, all-encompassing care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide instruction to patients and their families on therapeutic methods to maintain progress outside of the therapy setting.
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical advancements and modify treatment plans when necessary to keep patients on track.

Education Requirements

• Accredited degree in Occupational Therapy
• Support for ongoing education and additional certifications is encouraged

Certifications

• Currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• NBCOT certification is mandatory
