As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our patients' living quarters.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and wash patient laundry, including bed linens, towels, and clothing
• Operate industrial washing machines and dryers to ensure efficient and effective cleaning
• Fold, iron, and package clean laundry for distribution to patients and staff
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to infection control standards
• Monitor laundry supply levels and report inventory needs to management
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely delivery of clean laundry to patients
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (on-the-job training provided)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, carry, and move laundry bags and supplies (up to 50 lbs.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
