Assembler PositionsHamilton Connections is seeking candidates for assembler positions at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. These are temp-to-hire positions.The first shift is 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $19 an hour.The second shift is 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $21 an hour.Job Responsibilities:Accurately pick necessary parts for production ordersAssemble, check and package sub-components and finished products according to instruction and production order in a quality and schedule-minded fashionExecute special tasks within the assembly processMount items necessary for fulfilling the assembly orders of sub-components and finished productsMaintain order at the workplaceTemporary assignments as floater in different assembly teamsCooperation within assembly teamPerform computer and administrative work such as order printing, label creation, order confirmation and trackingCoordinate transport arrangements with shippingPrioritize and arrange production papers and pick list based on commitment level to customersJob Requirements:Assembly and/or manufacturing experienceForward thinking with good time management skillsAverage manual dexterityMechanical ability necessaryAble to handle physical aspects of the job, including moderate to heavy lifting and standing for long periodsAble to operate manufacturing equipment and electronic test equipmentAble to read and write in EnglishAble to work overtimeAble to pass pre-employment screenings
