Patient Transporter - CENTRAL TRANSPORT

Patient Transporter at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work <80>-hour, Variable shifts.

Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo has received Magnet designation in 2012, 2017, 2021 and are in the process of earning our fourth designation in 2025! Under general supervision, works with a team transporting pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, to and from various areas of the Hospital to include patient rooms, diagnostics areas, surgery and admitting. Maintains communication via with the dispatcher via two-way radio, to receive transport and other requests. Documents transport activities and maintains cleanliness and order of various transportation related equipment such as gurneys and wheelchairs.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a related healthcare field/position.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
