Clinical Sales Specialist (Acute Wound/Pressure Injury Prevention)

Travel Requirements

• Approximately 75% travel
• Typically traveling Monday through Thursday
• 3-4 weeks per month in the field
• Frequent hospital and customer site visits throughout the territory

Day To Day:

The Clinical Sales Specialist-Northwest will represent the organization by interacting with established customers and targeting new prospective business to grow the specialty products sales. Applies extensive knowledge of product and services while developing relationships with Injury Prevention and Wound Care Professionals. Sales Specialist with a "hunter mentality" focused on prospecting, generating interest, quickly uncovering opportunities, leveraging existing accounts and closing new business within an assigned territory.

Sales & Territory Development (85%)

• Develop and expand business within acute care hospital systems
• Identify, prospect, and convert new accounts across the territory
• Conduct in-person cold calling and hospital rounding
• Build relationships with clinical and executive stakeholders
• Execute strategic territory growth plans
• Manage product evaluations and customer conversions
• Conduct Clinical QBRs and business reviews
• Partner with the broader sales organization to drive account penetration

Clinical Support & Education (15%)

• Conduct product trials and evaluations
• Lead in-service training sessions for clinical staff
• Support the clinical portion of customer implementations
• Present clinical studies, evidence, and product data
• Educate healthcare teams on best practices and product utilization
• Serve as a clinical resource throughout the sales cycle

Please note this is an in-person sales role and ability to travel 75% of the time is required.

Must Have Experience:

• At least five (5) years of healthcare industry sales experience is required, MUST have experience in ACUTE sales
• Strong Med-Surg sales experience with established relationships across hospitals
• Experience selling a specialty medical product that requires clinical consultation, product trials, or clinician education.
• Demonstrated success calling on stakeholders such as Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs), Wound Care Nurses (WOCNs), Clinical Leaders
• Track record of developing new business and growing underpenetrated territories through proactive hunting and in-person customer engagement.
• Experience conducting product evaluations, clinical in-services, customer trials, or evidence-based product presentations.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 75% throughout the Northwest territory. xhyhwjd
