Position Title : Cable and Wiring Specialist – Level III

Position Location : Full time, Onsite in San Diego, CA

Daily Responsibilities:  

• Serve as the primary escalation point for resolving the most complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational disruptions.
• Oversee all phases of cabling projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• Installation, modification, repair, and removal of copper and optical fiber cables. 

Required Years of Experience (min) :       

• Six (6) years of experience demonstrating proficiency in cable and wiring. 

Required Degree/Certifications :           

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. /or equivalency.
• Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI).

Requirements :

• Experience developing comprehensive cable and wiring designs for new building additions, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ability to architect solutions ensuring that all installations meet current and future operational needs while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Knowledge to perform end-to-end cable test to verify proper functionality.
• Documentation skills to catalog all actions taken with cable infrastructure. Knowledge of cabling standards.
• Ability to read engineering diagrams for buildings and cable plant.

Required Clearance :

• Security/background check. Must be a US Citizen.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $55k-$65k

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
