Are you an experienced, licensed P&C Agent who is tired of having your earning potential capped by a base salary? We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Property & Casualty Insurance Agent with 3–5 years of industry experience to join our team on a commission-only basis .

This role is designed for a self-starter who already knows the ropes, possesses an established network or proven prospecting strategy, and wants to maximize their income. We provide the platform, carrier access, and administrative support—you bring the drive and expertise. Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

• Prospect & Qualify: Actively identify, prospect, and cross-sell P&C insurance products (Auto, Home, Umbrella, and/or Commercial lines) to new and existing clients.
• Quote & Bind: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, generate accurate quotes across multiple carriers, and bind coverage in alignment with underwriting guidelines.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain a consistent sales pipeline through warm leads, referrals, networking, and community involvement.

2. Client Relationship & Account Management

• Consultative Selling: Conduct annual policy reviews with clients to identify coverage gaps and recommend necessary updates or policy endorsements.
• Retention: Achieve high client retention rates by providing prompt, empathetic, and accurate customer service regarding policy changes, billing, and coverage inquiries.
• Claims Assistance: Guide clients through the initial claims reporting process, serving as a supportive liaison between the client and the claims adjuster.

3. Compliance & Administration

• Documentation: Maintain meticulous, accurate records of all client interactions, quotes, and policy updates within our Agency Management System (AMS).
• Regulatory Alignment: Adhere strictly to state insurance regulations, compliance laws, and internal agency policies.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Experience & Licensing

• Licensing: Must hold an active and clean state Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License .
• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience actively selling and servicing P&C insurance products within an independent or captive agency environment.

Technical Skills

• Agency Management Software: Proficiency with standard insurance software (e.g., EZLynx) and rating platforms.
• Underwriting Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of P&C underwriting guidelines, policy language, and risk exposures.

Soft Skills & Competencies

• Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills—ability to explain complex coverage terms in simple language.
• Drive: Self-motivated with a high energy level and a track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas.
• Problem-Solving: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle client objections or complex risk scenarios gracefully.
