CNC Machinist/Programmer

Adecco is Hiring a CNC Programmer/Machinist Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining centers. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, GD&T, and work instructions. Create and edit CNC programs using SURFCAM, conversational programming, and G & M code. Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work holding devices; establish machine offsets and setups. Perform milling, drilling, boring, tapping, reaming, contouring, and other precision machining operations. Conduct first-piece inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools. Troubleshoot machining issues, optimize programs, and make tooling or machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity. Perform routine machine maintenance and accurately record production data in the ERP system. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following company safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical CNC training preferred. 10+ years of CNC programming, setup, and machining experience. Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines and SURFCAM software preferred. Strong knowledge of G & M code, GD&T, tooling, machining strategies, feeds, and speeds. Ability to read blueprints, CAD models, and technical documentation. Skilled in precision inspection using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and related measuring equipment. Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and commitment to safety and quality. Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Pay Rate starting at $25.00 per hour.
