We want someone who cares not just about animals but about their owners, too. We are a 13-doctor practice located in Buckhead providing preventative, urgent, and emergency care. Responsibilities: Restraint - restrain patients for exams, obtaining samples, ultrasound, radiology, etc. Obtain samples - blood, urine, and other samples for laboratory tests Laboratory procedures - in-house blood chemistry and hematology, complete urinalysis, cytology of skin and ears, snap tests, as well as processing and submitting samples to an outside lab Patient care - hospitalized and critically ill patients: monitoring vital signs, administering medications and/or fluids, etc Set up and perform radiographs Client education - nutrition, pet care, vaccine protocols, preventatives, etc. Support veterinarians to ensure exceptional veterinary careduring preventative,injuryand illness visits Advocate for patients Assist withsetting up patient procedures, and surgicalinstrumentand equipment care.
