Service Advisor Opportunity

Midas of Acton is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team. Candidate must be familiar with vehicle service and be customer service oriented and sales oriented. Prior experience a plus but willing to train the right candidate. We need a team player, with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and participate in training to excel and bring customer service to the next level. This is a great opportunity to join a busy shop, with a progressive and proactive team and management. Benefits include 401k, health insurance, and paid time off two weeks per year. Responsibilities

As a Midas automotive service writer, you will manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the operation of the shop, including:

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers
• Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendationsbuilding computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
• Oversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks
• Maintain inventory counts
• Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Other duties as assigned
