Future Opening: Automotive Service Advisor Sign on BONUS

Service Advisor Opportunity
Midas of Acton is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team. Candidate must be familiar with vehicle service and be customer service oriented and sales oriented. Prior experience a plus but willing to train the right candidate. We need a team player, with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and participate in training to excel and bring customer service to the next level. This is a great opportunity to join a busy shop, with a progressive and proactive team and management. Benefits include 401k, health insurance, and paid time off two weeks per year. Sign on bonus will be discussed at time of interview.
Responsibilities
As a Midas automotive service writer, you will manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the operation of the shop, including:
- Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers
- Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
- Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendationsbuilding computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
- Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
- Oversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks
- Maintain inventory counts
- Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

- Good communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Team building skills
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Valid driver's license
