As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Surveillance in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with integrity and professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
