Hendrick Volkswagen Frisco Location: 5010 State Highway 121, Frisco, Texas 75034 Summary: Responsible for assisting with leading the Pre-Owned vehicle sales department. The Pre-Owned Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with operations, sales performance results, employee supervision, and customer satisfaction in the Pre-Owned vehicle sales department. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following: Assists with improving sales and operations. Assists and provides input for department hiring & discipline decisions. Assists sales team with processing or completing sales. Trains and supervises sales team. Assists with developing promotions to motivate sales team. Sets schedules for sales team. Oversees department inventory. Interacts with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Assists with decisions on sale price & trade-in appraisals. Assists with completion of end-of-month physical inventory & required management reports according to Company deadlines. Attends required manager meetings. Maintains CSI at or above Company standards Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area Participates in required training Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. Working knowledge of automotive sales industry. Certificates and Licenses: Valid Driver’s License o Automobile Salesperson License Computer Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products. Intermediate ability and knowledge of Dealership Management System and web based applications. Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel. Attendance Expectations: The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit. Environment Demands: Duties are performed throughout the premises, both indoors and outdoors and on customer test drives. Due to the nature of the position, employee may be exposed to various work environments and required to perform a variety of tasks. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to interact with customers and other departments. Verbal and Writing Ability: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
