Required Skills & Experience- 7+ years of payroll experience
- 2+ years of payroll leadership, supervisory, or management experience
- Experience overseeing end-to-end payroll processing
- Union payroll experience!
- Certified payroll experience
- Payroll tax filing and compliance experience
- Experience with prevailing wage payroll requirements
- Strong understanding of labor compliance reporting
- Experience using payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Workday, Avionté, or similar
Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Construction industry experience
- General Contractor (GC) experience
- Experience managing payroll teams in a high-volume environment
- Multi-state payroll experience
- Experience with collective bargaining agreements
- Experience managing union deductions, fringes, and benefit contributions
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to lead payroll operations for a growing construction organization. This role will oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, and serve as the subject matter expert for union and certified payroll. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, a background in construction payroll, and the ability to manage complex payroll processes while supporting and developing payroll team members.
