We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).As a Senior Manager (PL), Fiduciary Tax, you will lead the fiduciary tax function for personal trust accounts, driving high-impact outcomes across tax operations, compliance, and process optimization. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison to the external tax preparation partner, partnering closely to ensure accurate, timely tax return preparation and filing while maintaining strong oversight of performance, timelines, and deliverables. You will collaborate with trust administration teams, advisors, and beneficiaries to provide clear communication and guidance on tax matters, including complex scenarios that require sound judgment and deep fiduciary tax expertise.You will play a critical role in managing end-to-end tax workflows, including prioritizing tax timelines, ensuring tax payments are made accurately and timely, and maintaining adherence to key filing deadlines such as extensions and annual returns. Leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you will evaluate tax data, identify gaps, and lead continuous improvement efforts, including annual tax debriefs and process enhancements that improve efficiency and scalability. You will also oversee foreign nexus considerations and related documentation, ensuring appropriate tracking and compliance within established systems.As a leader, you will coach and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering accountability, adaptability, and a proactive mindset in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Your ability to balance multiple stakeholders, including internal partners, external vendors, and clients, will be essential to delivering high-quality outcomes.
