Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with a dynamic team supporting students in an inclusive elementary setting near Wilmington, DE. This position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) who is enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of young learners, especially those interested in growing their expertise through hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

You’ll work primarily with mild to moderate caseloads—approximately 40-45 elementary students—providing speech and language services as part of a collaborative, student-centered team. This role is perfect for newer clinicians eager to be mentored and shaped for lasting success in school-based practice.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Passion for inclusive education and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Openness to innovative approaches and ongoing training
  • Recent graduates and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to express interest; SLPAs will also be considered for future roles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and execute individualized therapy for a caseload of 40-45 elementary students
  • Partner with educators and other practitioners to provide optimal support in an inclusion setting
  • Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and communicate regularly with families and staff
  • Embrace ongoing training and mentorship opportunities
  • Contribute creativity, empathy, and positivity to the school community
