Suppression System Technician | On-Call Fire & Safety

What You Will Do Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems and Suppression Gas Systems, and other related building system products at customer sites. Service, troubleshoot and install equipment from manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Manage daily service calls, customer activities and program system products. Work with clean‑agent systems, dry‑chemical systems, and special hazards. How You Will Do It Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency service. Perform inspections of suppression gas systems based on contract requirements. Inspect customer systems. Use a smartphone and equipment as needed. May include government work. Required 3+ years of experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Outstanding customer‑facing service and problem‑solving skills. PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Preferred Manufacturers certificates are a plus (e.g., ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem). Local and state license if required. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate $21-27 with a competitive benefits package.
