Maintenance Coordinator

InterAction24 is hiring a full-time Maintenance Coordinator for a high-volume commercial food production facility in Brooklyn, NY. Contract-to-hire, onsite, with a genuine path to becoming a direct employee of the company. Schedule Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Days off: Monday and Tuesday. If it works for you, here is why it works well: You are not one of five people in an office. On this shift you are THE maintenance coordinator on site. What gets planned, gets planned by you. Weekend production is when equipment fails and there is nobody to route it. That is precisely why this role exists, and it is why the work is visible. Mondays and Tuesdays off means appointments, errands and personal business without burning PTO or fighting weekend crowds. You miss rush hour in both directions, every day. Fixed days, fixed hours, every week. No rotating shifts, no on-call roulette. This is a computer and data role, not a wrench role. You are the organizational backbone of the maintenance operation. You keep work orders moving, PM schedules on track, and repair costs under control. You will not be doing the repairs yourself.

What you will own:

• Run the CMMS every day: create, assign, track, escalate and close work orders
• Keep preventive maintenance schedules on track and coordinate them with technicians around a live production floor
• Schedule vendor repairs, chase vendors, and track what they charge
• Order parts and keep inventory at the right levels so a failure does not become downtime
• Report on downtime, repair spend and parts spend, and flag the trends before they become expensive
• Keep maintenance documentation clean and audit-ready
• Be the single point of contact for maintenance during your shift

What we need:

• 2+ years running a CMMS or work order system as a core part of your job
• Experience in an environment with real equipment and real deadlines: food production, manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, hospitality, healthcare facilities, grocery, or commercial property
• Genuinely strong with computers, spreadsheets and systems. This job lives on a screen
• Organized to the point that it annoys people. Nothing falls through
• Able to hold your own with technicians and vendors
• Available all five days, Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Reliable commute to Brooklyn helps, but not required

Compensation: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
