Responsibilities Associate Product Specialist (by clicking this link you are being referred to an external site that is not part of Panasonic) Meet the Recruiter: Amber Smallwood What You'll Get To Do: Promotion / Performance Assist updating promotional roadmap Follow guidelines to update promotion cost simulation Review weekly POS performance and report findings of exception vs forecast Product Coordinate updating necessary basic product set up information – coordination with Japan Business Unit (BU) Track competitive product launch and campaign to report findings to PM Maintain the product specification and product transition chart, including model details, timing, and status Demonstrate knowledge of technical product details Ability to demonstrate product functions and features PSI Assist collaboration with sales team closely to understand the sales forecast and accounts situation and support Analyze latest POS trend vs sales forecast Assist preparing power point presentation to be reported in monthly meeting Publish Reports Access to POS data system to generate weekly report Run data analysis and generate monthly report with key findings Update weekly competitive market report Update weekly report for promotion history in the market Publish Circana market reports to track category and subcategory market size, market share, pricing trends, and competitive performance Admin Tasks Work with PM to submit RFA (Request for Approval), and follow through Document RFAs and track vs budget to ensure completion and in compliance Create Purchase Requisitions and process Purchase Orders associated with approved RFAs; coordinate with the appropriate teams to help ensure timely payment Order and track sample for responsible category Event / Show support Work with PM and marketing team to identify support requirements and execute as each event requires different levels of involvement Account Meetings Work with PM to support preparing for the meeting with presentation data Scope: This position will report directly to product manager Qualifications What You'll Bring: Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree required 0-2 years of experience in consumer electronics industry preferred Experience in product management, sales and marketing team preferred Advanced MS office skills, Excel andPowerPoint are required Receptiveness to feedback and a desire to improve, learn and grow Competencies Ability to improve / eliminate manual processes Strong analytical ability & detail oriented Excellent Multi-tasking and time management skills Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours as needed’ Problem solver – identify areas of improvement Agility - ability to move quickly and easily in response to change or challenge Attention to detail Communications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Communication within all different departments in organization and Japan business units as necessary Other Requirements: Ability to travel up to 10% (may include overnight) Benefits & Perks - What's In It For You: Panasonic prioritizes total well-being and offers comprehensive benefits options to support physical, emotional, financial, social, and environmental health: Health Benefits – Offering medical, dental, vision, prescription plans, plus Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account options. The hourly wage range of$31.25 to $33.65 per hour is just one component of Panasonic’s total package.
