Lead Physical Therapy Technician - OakBend Physical Therapy: Katy - Full Time

Overview Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician the person will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner. Responsibilities Assist in supervised patient treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Maintain the PT department in a clean and orderly manner. Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred. Minimum Work Experience Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred. Required Licenses/Certifications Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program. Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
