Metrology and Calibration Specialist (Associate & Mid-Level)

Metrology & Calibration Specialist (Associate & Mid-Level) – Boeing Test & Evaluation Location: Seattle, WA. This role involves calibration and certification of various measurement and test equipment across precision dimensional, optical, mass, temperature‑humidity, pressure, flow and force parameters, supporting commercial and military programs including 777X, 737MAX, 787, P‑8, Tanker and others. Position Responsibilities Calibration/Certification of measurement and test equipment (MTE). Analyze data and document results. Diagnose and resolve laboratory and test‑related problems. Coach and train teammates. Coordinate test requirements with customers, determine test methods and capabilities. Develop procedures for test equipment. Work under general direction. Basic Qualifications (Required) U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) as required by export control regulations. At least 1 year of experience in metrology and/or measurement science. Experience with dimensional, force, mass, pressure, linear measurements, temperature, vacuum, or other physical metrology processes. Preferred Qualifications (Desired) 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in at least one of the following parameters: linear measurements, pressure, temperature/humidity, flow, force, electrical, or other physical metrology processes. Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) credential. Experience in the aerospace industry. PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) experience. Experience with LabVIEW, C++, Access, and/or writing and configuring automated software and hardware tests. Drug‑Free Workplace Boeing is a drug‑free workplace.
