Job Title: Production Team Lead / Machine Operator Line Lead Company: Kelly Services Location: Onsite - Charlotte, NC Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM Pay: $22.50/hr | Temp to Hire Job Overview Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Production Team Lead / Machine Operator Line Lead for our manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. This role is responsible for driving safety, performance, and quality standards in a fast-paced environment, while leading, coaching, and training team members to achieve operational excellence. Main Responsibilities Supply all materials to machines and coordinate efficient production sequencing to meet customer demand. Enter production, scrap, and bin movements accurately in Master pack. Oversee all line changeovers and conduct first piece inspections. Operate forklift, power pallet jack, manual carts, and pallet jacks for materials handling. Follow work instructions and safety/PPE procedures, report violations as necessary. Achieve daily production output targets and meet quality standards. Adhere to OSHA guidelines, Environmental Health & Safety rules, and ISO requirements. Maintain a safe and clean work area by complying with 5S requirements. Work overtime when required. Collaborate with leadership and quality teams to resolve issues. Other duties as assigned. Experience & Skills Manufacturing experience required. Previous experience operating a forklift and working with measurements essential. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals). Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Knowledge of quality standards; compare measurements to specifications. Able to read, interpret, and follow a variety of instructions (written, oral, diagrams, schedule). Good hand/eye coordination and interpersonal skills. Flexible, self-motivated, and quick to adapt. Ability to work well within a team. Physical Requirements Ability to be on your feet for long periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent walking, handling materials, reaching, occasional bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling. Good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment). Comfortable working around moving parts, oil, grease, coolants, fumes, and particulate hazards.
