More details include: School Social Worker (LOA / Maternity Leave Coverage) - 2026 Location: Kankakee County Grade Level: 8th Grade Caseload: ~25 students Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:25 AM - 3:05 PM (37.25 hrs/week) Contract Dates: August 17, 2026 - December 4, 2026 (leave coverage) Responsibilities: Provide individual and/or small-group counseling and social-emotional support Support behavioral intervention planning and student success strategies Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support planning Maintain timely, accurate documentation per school and state requirements Required Qualifications: Illinois School Social Worker License Illinois PEL with School Social Worker endorsement School-based experience strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
