About This Role The Nurse Manager Assistant (ANM) is a professional registered nurse who supports nursing leadership by coordinating staffing, quality outcomes, and operational activities in the NICU. This role is ideal for skilled communicators and leaders who are dedicated to improving patient care and supporting their team. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Support the execution of the nursing strategic plan and priorities. Participate in unit and hospital decision-making. Provide operational and administrative support to Nurse leadership. Coordinate staffing and support throughput, quality, and safety outcomes. Monitor and evaluate nursing practice and the nursing care delivery system. Communicate policies, standards, and procedures to staff. Serve as a role model for professionalism and quality care. Identify cost containment measures within the department. Serve on-call based on unit requirements. Assume special projects as assigned. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in respective specialty At least 2 years of NICU nursing experience Charge nurse experience preferred Prior Assistant Manager or Supervisor experience preferred Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required NRP certification required Pediatric IV therapy and bereavement certifications preferred About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
