Position Summary

Our client, a leading Chicago-based General Contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead business development efforts and oversee construction projects within the Food & Beverage and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial construction, an established book of business, and experience securing new contracts while leading successful project execution.

Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Food & Beverage and industrial construction markets.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key industry decision-makers.
Leverage an established book of business to generate revenue and meet annual sales goals.
Oversee ground-up construction, cold storage facilities, major renovations, and industrial expansions.
Manage project performance, including budgets, schedules, profitability, and risk.
Lead project teams and ensure successful project delivery.
Participate in contract negotiations, project proposals, and bidding opportunities.
Represent the company at industry events and professional organizations.
Expand existing client accounts and develop long-term business partnerships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
10+ years of construction industry experience.
Experience in Food & Beverage, cold storage, or industrial construction.
Proven business development experience with a strong book of business.
Background in ground-up construction and major renovations.
Experience managing large-scale projects and construction teams.
Strong knowledge of construction operations, financial management, and contract negotiations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 annually
