Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to identify patient needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with patients, ensuring alignment with their specific needs and cultural backgrounds.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), to provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.

  • Deliver crisis intervention services, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care for patients experiencing acute distress.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation including progress notes and treatment plans according to regulatory standards and organizational policies.

  • Empower patients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their mental health effectively.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care strategies for patients.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey is required.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to function both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a telehealth setting.

  • Familiarity with the tools and platforms utilized in providing remote therapy, including video conferencing and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 84,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
