Job Title Physical Therapist Location California | Outpatient Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time, 40 hours/week | Day Shift | Flexible Schedule Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatments; utilize clinical reasoning to progress patients toward discharge within an established length of stay Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients; ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision and completing student evaluations Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license in good standing (California) Outpatient physical therapy experience required — new graduates will not be considered Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop functional treatment programs Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and state practice acts Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with clinical documentation systems and familiarity with insurance authorization processes Prior experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students Active involvement in continuing education and professional development activities Why Join Us Work in a structured outpatient setting with a flexible schedule and a strong emphasis on patient safety and quality care Opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment that supports professional growth and development Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID #779082.
