Assistant Store Manager

Assistant Store Manager Nati Boutique, a rapidly growing boutique retailer, is seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Manager to join our LA Team. As our Assistant Manager, you will work directly under the supervision of our Store Manager, helping to ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently. You will assist in the implementation of operational processes that attract and retain customers while driving sales. Additionally, you will work closely with our CEO and co-owner to help drive financial sales goals. Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day responsibilities of a high-volume retail environment, with the key focus of driving sales. Assist with the training and development of new Sales Associates. Help drive the development of process improvements, link warehoused inventory into the store, track inventory performance, assist with restocking and organizing items, and overall inventory management. Handle the processing of exceptions including returns, damages, and other customer service issues. Ensure inventory is properly stocked and displayed to maximize sales. Deliver the highest level of customer service by welcoming customers, assisting with clothing selection, ensuring fitting rooms are ready, processing transactions accurately, and executing end-of-day settlements. Maintain expert-level product knowledge by familiarizing yourself with store inventory. Communicate customer questions, concerns, or feedback to the team in an appropriate time frame. Demonstrate a professional and warm attitude that encourages teamwork, especially during fast paced peak hours/seasons. Qualifications Minimum 2 years in an Assistant Manager role at a high-volume fashion retail company. Solid understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service. Excellent team building and leadership skills and proven experience coaching employees in tactics to attract and retain clientele. Proven ability to lead a small to medium sized Sales team to meet and exceed sales goals. Familiarity with inventory control systems and procedures. An upbeat, outgoing, and engaging personality - able to initiate contact with customers and identify their shopping needs. A can-do attitude with a proactive mindset; desire to wear many hats and help wherever needed - motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. High level of maturity, integrity and attention to detail. Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with coworkers and customers. Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, or relevant field, preferred. Open availability to work 5 days a week, including regular weekend shifts and some holidays. Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and carry up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. Estimated annual range of $70,000-$80,000 (hourly plus bonus). Keep in mind that the actual offer will depend on your experience and performance — in some cases, it might be a little higher than the range listed here.
