About the Position

Job Opportunity – OB RN Labor & Delivery – Montana

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Lewistown, Montana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Labor & Delivery with Med Surg float responsibilities when OB is closed

Highlights:

• Primary focus on OB Labor & Delivery with maternal and fetal monitoring
• Manage labor progression, assist with deliveries, and respond to obstetric emergencies
• Float to Med Surg unit when OB services are closed
• Perform cervical exams, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and provide postpartum education
• Administer medications and prepare patients for operative deliveries
• Opportunity to support families during critical moments in their lives

Requirements:

• Current Montana RN license required
• Active Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• STABLE Program certification
• Ability and willingness to float to Med Surg when needed
• Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills
