We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity, Level IV maternal center providing care for complex obstetric patients. The RN will support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe outcomes for mother and baby.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume unit with strong leadership support and a highly collaborative team environment.

• Level IV Maternal Center (highest acuity obstetric care)
• 22-bed L&D unit (16 labor beds)
• Approx. 100 staff members
• Patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
• EMR systems: CPN and Meditech
• Strong leadership support, including hands-on management
• Recently recognized as a top maternity hospital (Newsweek award)
• Ongoing facility renovations and modernization

• Provide comprehensive care for high-risk obstetric patients
• Manage labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Support procedures such as C-sections, D&C, cerclage placement/removal, and high-risk cases
• Monitor maternal and fetal status
• Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams
• Provide patient education and emotional support

• Active RN License (State or Compact)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum experience in Labor & Delivery
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

• Circulating OR and triage experience
• 5+ years L&D experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech or CPN EMR

• No on-call requirement
• Weekend shifts: 4 per schedule
• Must be able to adapt quickly and work in a team-oriented environment
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Strong communication and multitasking skills essential
