Travel RN Job Details Location: Cleveland, Ohio Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480 Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: November 13, 2026 End Date: February 12, 2027 Hours: 36 hours per week Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; rotating days and nights Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Day Shift: Approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Night Shift: Approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Scheduling Note: Shift assignments may vary according to operational needs Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of combined permanent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing Permanent Ohio RN license or compact-state license in hand at the time of submission Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from an accepted provider Recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty Strong telemetry nursing knowledge, including ECG rhythm recognition and cardiac monitoring Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation Willingness to float to comparable patient-care units, including emergency care areas, as operational needs require Ability to work at least every other holiday during the assignment Completion of required pre-assignment screening, background verification, and educational modules Travel Nurse Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in an acute-care setting Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established standards Complete focused and comprehensive assessments, care planning, documentation, and patient education Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Respond effectively to changes in patient acuity and support safe patient transitions and discharges Maintain a professional, compassionate approach while caring for diverse patient populations Adapt to rotating schedules, floating expectations, and the dynamic needs of an acute-care environment Apply now for this Cleveland, Ohio travel nursing opportunity and bring your medical-surgical telemetry expertise to a fast-paced acute-care team.
