IMMEDIATELY HIRING PLUMBERS AND PLUMBER HELPERS IN WINSTON-SALEM, NCPAY $20-32 PER HOUR (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)HOURS MONDAY-FRIDAY, 7AM-5PM

Responsibilities

• Install commercial and industrial plumbing systems, including water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements of plumbing systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and lay out rough-in piping and fixtures for new construction and renovation projects.
• Inspect and test installed plumbing systems to ensure proper fit and correct installation
• Perform soldering, brazing, and working with cast iron, copper, and PVC piping.
• Use appropriate cutting tools and equipment to measure, cut, and install piping and fixtures to precise specifications.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial plumbing.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
• Proficiency in plumbing installation, including rough-in work for new construction and renovation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Hands-on experience working with cast iron, copper, and PVC piping.
• Skilled in soldering and brazing for secure and durable pipe connections.
• Competence in using cutting tools and other plumbing-related equipment safely and accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with crews, contractors, architects, and other professionals.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various environments and conditions, including standing, bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as effectively within a team environment.

Work Environment

This role is based in commercial and industrial settings, including offices, schools, hospitals, and manufacturing or industrial facilities. Work involves both new construction and maintenance projects, often requiring time on active job sites with other trades and construction professionals. You regularly use plumbing tools and equipment such as cutting tools, soldering and brazing tools, and materials including cast iron, copper, and PVC piping. The position requires physical activity, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Work hours typically follow standard construction schedules, with occasional emergency call-outs as needed to address urgent plumbing issues. Attire is practical and safety-focused, with appropriate workwear and personal protective equipment required in accordance with job site safety standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Winston-Salem, NC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Winston-Salem,NC.
