Dental Hygienist

Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Dental Hygienist to join our well-respected client in the Capital Region, NY area. The Registered Dental Hygienist plays a crucial role in promoting and maintaining oral health for pediatric patients. 

This role is a full-time or part-time, direct-hire opportunity!

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene services for pediatric patients, including scaling and tooth polishing.
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants to prevent tooth decay.
• Perform oral health evaluations and maintain detailed, accurate records of patient health histories and findings.
• Educate patients and families on proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition practices to support long-term oral health.
• Assist dentist during clinical examinations and treatments while prioritizing patient comfort and well-being.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterilization procedures and infection control protocols in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain and update patient records while coordinating follow-up visits and continued care
• Participate in community education initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of pediatric dental health and preventive care

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of New York
• CPR certified
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, infection control, and safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in pediatric dentistry or working with special needs children
• Organizational skills are applied in managing patient records, scheduling, and maintaining compliance with health regulations.
• Additional certifications such as Local Anesthesia or Nitrous Oxide administration.
• Familiarity with electronic dental records (EDR) systems.
• Bilingual, particularly in Spanish (plus)

Salary Range:

$44.00- $48.00/ hour
