Behavioral Health Technician / Mental Health Support Specialist (Per Diem) – Location: Erwin, North Carolina – Up to $21/hr – Flexible Scheduling – Day & Night Shifts Available We are currently hiring compassionate and dependable professionals for a Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) facility providing 24/7 support services to individuals experiencing mental health and substance abuse challenges. This is a per diem opportunity offering excellent flexibility for candidates seeking supplemental income or adaptable scheduling. Available Shifts 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM Responsibilities Provide direct support and supervision to consumers Assist with and model daily living skills Monitor and document consumer behaviors, symptoms, and concerns Communicate observations to clinical team members Participate in shift reports and team collaboration Provide transportation as needed Support a safe, respectful, recovery-focused environment Perform additional duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in crisis situations Compassion for individuals facing mental health and substance abuse challenges Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Team-oriented mindset with a strong belief in recovery and client advocacy Qualifications Qualified candidates should be able to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of the role.
