Project SpecialistThe Project Specialist is responsible for post award entry and review of project information into the D365 Finance and Operations system. The Project Specialist will work closely with Project Specialists at other sites, CX team members, Project Management and Operations.Position RequirementsEducation and experience:A.S. in Business Administration or related fieldEquivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be consideredSkills and Abilities:Experience with Microsoft tools (i.e. D365, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, PowerPoint)Good communication and writing skillsMaintain confidential informationInteract professionally with employees and clientsAbility to work independently as well as in a group settingAbility to problem solve and troubleshoot when necessaryExcellent communication and decision-making skills. Revenue recognition experience preferredProven ability to work with and maintain confidential informationProven computer skills with Microsoft Office suite and accounting systemsProven strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to adhere to regulations, policies, and proceduresDemonstrates exceptional attention to detail.General:Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to read, write and understand oral and/or written instructionsPhysical Activity:This position requires frequent walking, standing for extended periods of time, sitting for extended periods of time, talking for extended periods of time, carrying items (maximum of 25 pounds), reaching while standing and general repetitive motionsOperation of standard office equipment including computer terminal, telephone, calculator, copy, and fax machines requiring continuous repetitive arm, hand, and eye movementTravel may involve extended periods of sitting in a car, airplane, and/or trainWorking Conditions:Clean, pleasant, comfortable office settingOffice and classroom environments include varying temperatures and dustThe noise level is usually moderate.Travel conditions may include crowded environments with varying temperaturesResponsibilities and Duties:Responsible for project setup in Microsoft D365 Finance and OperationsWork with Project Management and Operations to create project cost budgetWork with Project Management and Operations to monitor and perform invoice proposal tasksTrack client purchase orders and ensure reference where appropriateAdministration and review of projects in Microsoft D365 Finance and OperationsSupport and participate in other company initiatives as directed by senior managementPerform other duties as assignedAt Inotiv, our work helps advance the development of new medicines and therapies that can improve people's lives.
