Availability of assignments is based on needs of health system.Current assignments are available in all regions.Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay hospitals.Region 2 includes St Joseph's Hospital, St Joseph's North, St Joseph's South and BayCare Wesley Chapel hospitals.Region 3 includes South Florida Baptist, Bartow Medical Center and Winter Haven Hospitals.The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.· The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.· Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments· Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.· The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.Our network consists of 15 community-based hospitals, a long-term acute care facility, home health services, outpatient centers and thousands of physicians. All BayCare hospitals have been awarded the Pathways to Excellence, which recognizes health care organizations for positive practice environments where nurses excel.Requirements:Registered Nurse licenseBLS and ACLS(AHA) are required.Associate degree in nursing (ASN)18 months RN experience in an acute ICU setting is required.2 years RN experience in an acute ICU setting is strongly preferred.Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.FlexibilityTravel Nurse experience preferred.Facility: BayCare Health System, Mobile Pool-BCHS
