Electro-Mechanical Technician Junior
$24 - $30 per hourTri-Tec Manufacturing LLC
Synopsis We are looking for a skilled technician to join our team designing and building valve actuator products for marine applications. Responsibilities Assembling electromechanical valve actuator prototypes and test units. Designing and building test fixtures and cables. Testing prototype assemblies and subassemblies. Conducting and recording first article product tests. Assisting manufacturing activities during times of high demand. Potential periodic domestic travel to U.S. Naval bases and shipyards. Required Skills and Experience High attention to detail and pride of workmanship Proficiency at assembling, dismantling, and repairing various items General knowledge of geared mechanics Basic understanding of how electronics control mechanical assemblies Competency soldering and crimping wires and connectors Familiarity working with electronics/electronic circuit boards Organized, independent, and effective at prioritizing competing tasks and projects Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Bonus Skills 3D CAD (SolidWorks) 3D printing Laser Cutting Wood working, milling machine, or lathe experience Strong writing, grammar, and spelling skills Qualifications U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to defense contracts requirements.
